ADVOCACY

 This service aims to support men with the issues which impact on their relationship with their children and their parenting role. This service provides one to one assistance to men on a range of issues that may arise, such as, housing, separation, access, listening etc

Some issues which we support dads with are:

·        Listening, and trying to encourage, empower and put the correct supports in place to enable dads to be the best dad they can be for their children.

·        Mediation between solicitors on both sides to gain Quality Access for dads and their children to enable them to develop a meaningful relationship.

·        Supporting dads whose financial situations have changed as a result of becoming lone parents or unemployed, to fill out the appropriate forms.

·        Attending case conferences and giving progress reports when required.

·        Court attendances around Separation, Access and Maintenance issues
